Following an £8 million upgrade, the new flexible events space at Bilston Market came to life on Saturday 13th July 2026.
Thousands of people turned out to enjoy free family activities as part of the official celebration for the new-look market.
Special guests were celebrity chef Glynn Purnell and TV baker ‘Molly Makes Cakes’, who entertained the crowds alongside dance and music performers, as well as a host of family-friendly activities.
QuickStage provided the central focal point for all events, interviews and speeches from local dignitaries.
